TH1034 Catholic Faith/ Married and Religious Vocation
Rationale for the course (Why is this course in the curriculum?)
Senior Theology reviews the teachings of the Catholic Church, re-acquaints them with the Scripture and gives the student the opportunity to analyze and synthesize the theological information they have collected. Hopefully this will prepare them to live their life of faith as an adult in the vocation to which they respond.
Objectives of the course (What should I expect to learn by the end of the course?)
Upon completion of the course, the student will demonstrate the ability to:

for learning (How will I go about learning this material?)
While lecture is the main format of the course; group work, video and computer lab visits are also included. Assignments and material to be covered will be given in a hand-out and will be posted on my webpage Assignments are to be completed by the assigned due date. A penalty of 5 percentage points a day will be imposed for late assignments. After initial presentation of the basic material students will be expected to do the assigned readings and be prepared to discuss together as a class to share our learning.
Conferences
with students regarding class matters are welcomed and encouraged. My office is
on the second floor across from the chapel 230A. Students wishing to discuss
grades, whether on individual assignments or progress reports, etc. must come

Students in TH1034 are required to do outside reading. Articles from catholic periodicals will be assigned for reading and reflection on occasion. Students will research various theological terms to be reviewed and discussed in class.
